Label Printing from Office 2010
(too old to reply)

I've been attempting a transition of label printing from a very old PFS
software system to Office 2010.

I've been trying to use a database, that I've constructed in Access,
using their "Contacts" template along with a label sheet constructed
with Word, having the needed information concerning label sizes
incorporated.

I've opened the label file in Word, gone to Mailings, then selected the
recipients from the appropriate database, with all recipients
highlighted by ticks and attempted to import to the Word document,
whereupon nothing appears in the document.

Attempts have been made to identify the problem online and various
solutions tried, alas, with no success.

Is there anyone who knows the answer and is kind enough to point me in
the correct direction.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information but I'm using specialist custom labels that
conform to no standard sizes, but that's not the problem in any case.

I can produce a sheep of blank labels to correct size using the facility
in Word. The problem comes when I try to import the Access database into
Word, the blank labels stay blank.

So when I say I think formatting may be the problem I mean that
transposing the contents of the database into the label blank may be the
difficulty i.e. I cannot find anyway of precisely instructing what I
want to appear on the label and in which order, line length, font, font
size etc.

Hope this clarifies things.
